PRS-T1 gegevensoverdracht werkt niet meer

Wanneer de reader met usb wordt aangesloten op de PC herkent de PC-Reader de reader niet.

De explorer van Windows XP ziet alleen de drive SETTINGS.

De menuoptie Instellingen - Over - Informatie apparaat geeft de foutmelding "De toepassing Instellingen is onverwachts gestopt."

Kan iemand mij zeggen wat er fout is, en hoe dit kan worden hersteld?

Ik heb een aantal vragen voor je:

1. Heeft het eerder wel gewerkt?

2. Zoja weet je vanaf welk punt het niet meer werkte?

3. Wat is daarna geinstalleerd?

4. Heeft u al een herstelpunt geprobeerd voor het punt dat hij het niet meer deed?

5. Heeft u de software al geupdate van de de Reader of de software op uw PC?

Bedankt voor de reactie.

Hij heeft tot een paar maanden terug normaal gefunctioneerd (synchroniseren boeken, update software).

Daarna begon hij kuren te vertonen. Vorige week probeerde ik er een nieuw boek op te zetten, maar werd hij niet meer herkend door de PC (ik heb nog een andere PRS-T1 en die werkt normaal, en wordt ook door de PC herkend). Ik heb hem uit geschakeld, en gereset, maar dat heeft geen effect. De software PC-Reader werd een nieuwe versie geïnstalleerd.

Ik heb geen idee wat een herstelpunt is.

Hier misschien wat oplossingen;

The Reader is not recognized by the computer or the Reader software.

After you have connected the Reader to your computer via the USB cable, you must set the Reader to data transfer mode.
It may take a while for the computer to detect the Reader.
Close the software, re-open it, and then check the connection status again.
Make sure that the Reader is connected directly to the USB port with the supplied USB cable.
Do not use a USB hub.Try connecting to a different USB port on the computer.
Try disconnecting the Reader and connecting it again.

If none of the above solves the problem, reset the Reader.

I cannot turn on the Reader.

Difficulties in turning on the Reader may be due to the battery being fully discharged or moisture condensation.

If the battery is fully discharged, charge the battery by connecting to the USB port on a computer and allow the battery to fully charge. If the battery is completely discharged, although charging is in progress (charge indicator lights up in red), the Reader will not turn on. Leave the Reader connected to the computer as it may take up to 5 minutes for the battery to be charged enough to turn on.

Moisture condensation can be caused by moving the Reader between temperature extremes or if the Reader has come in direct contact with moisture. Allow the Reader to sit for a few hours before attempting to turn it back on.

Sony PRS T1 Factory Reset

How to reset the Sony PRS T1 to factory default settings.

With the Reader Wi-Fi on, on the bottom of the device, press and hold the power button until the Device Shutdown screen appears.
In the Device Shutdown screen, press Yes .
Press the power button again to turn the Reader Wi-Fi back on.
While the screen displays opening book..... , simultaneously press and hold down the Next and Back buttons.
Allow the Home screen to fully load (Loading... should no longer flash in the top left corner of your screen) and then do the following button sequence while still holding down the Next and Back buttons:
Release - Press - Release the Back button only and then Release the Next button.
In the Would you like to execute Factory Initialize screen, press Yes .
Press the power button again to turn on the Reader Wi-Fi. The Reader Wi-Fi will be set to factory settings.

Bedankt voor de suggesties.

Ik heb de "factory reset" uitgevoerd. Ook daarna werd hij niet herkend door de PC-Reader software.

Ik ga er vanuit dat de problemen niet worden veroorzaakt door verkeerde instellingen of verkeerd gebruik, maar dat het apparaat niet goed functioneert.

Ik zal hem terugbrengen naar de leverancier.
