Be aware that if you are connected to the internet you run the risk of being hacked and your computer becoming a zombie. Make sure you have a good firewall program like Sygate and Zonealarm AVG but not just Nortons. As for keeping your notebook cool use this <A href="http://www.lian-li.com/main.htm" target="_blank">CPUTemp</A> and every 3to5 gigs of downloads defragment. Also use a simple screen saver and turn off all unneccessary processes in the task manager (right click the task bar).
