VGN-FS115B occasionally does not wake up from standby mode

Hi,

my VGN-FS115B sometimes does not wake up from standby mode. Pressing the power button for appr. 5 secs is the only solution for this problem, but this leeds to a complete reboot of the system.

Is this any known issue for this Vaio series, or could this also be a driver or Windows XP Home (SP2) related issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Julia ....Welcome to Club Vaio.....you're a streetfighter? Maybe your Vaio is too chicken to wake up:smileylaugh: This is going to sound bleeding obvious but by turning off your auto hibernation then turning it back on after a restart might fix the prob. Best thing to do is to click 'Start' then 'Help and support'. In the search field type 'hibernation' and it will guide you through to the power management options and what to do. Its just a glich typical Microsoft.
