Hi.

My VAIO notebook has both a C and D drive.

I was wondering how I should organise my files using these two drives. Previously I have always just stored programs and files on the C drive till it was full-to-bursting.

What should I move to my D drive? Should I move anything at all? Finally, would I just do this using a cut n' paste in Windows Explorer?

Yeah, I would.

If you subsequently have to recover your PC your music remains unaffected if it's on the D drive. Whereas if it was on your C drive you'd lose it as well as your photos and other documents.
