    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your notebook is no longer recognising either the 6Gb or the 30Gb drive then it would appear to be a hardware/cabling problem. I am almost certain that your original BIOS would support 30Gb.&lt;BR /&gt;Check that you have not damaged any connector pins during the removal/installation of hard disks and that the cable is correctly aligned and seated. Otherwise, yes, try a new cable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a vaio fx201 and i change the 6gb hd with an 30gb..From the time i disconected the 6gb the laptop doesnt recognize any disk at post.only the combo drive..the disk works fine on a pc via usb box...i have tried flashing bios all versions but i have the same problem..the laptop doesnt recognize at post the 6gb or the 30gb hd..i wonder if the solution is to change the cable from hd to mobo..any ideas???thanks...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
