hi

i have a fr415b running xp home. recently i have been having loads of problems with video playback. every mpg i try to play back is jerky as hell and out of sync with sound. this happens in media player and media player classic.

i have disabled all other running apps to ensure this is not a processor speed issue and it is still happening.

any ideas?

If its not a system load issue, it might be that you replaced your codec's with less suitable ones. If you have installed any codec package or software that is likely to be the problem.

Have to agree with Stephanius, it's a codec issue, and if you can uninstall it then do so.
