Setup Cannot Copy ... e100bnt.din

I am trying to install the Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection and this is the error I keep getting.

I am using the drivers from the Sony site and Win 2K Pro.

The last time I did this, there was no problems.

Does anybody have any idea on getting the network card (non-wireless) working?

Is the PRO/100 VE Network adaptor showing up in Device Manager?
If it is I suggest that you try right clicking on it, select uninstall, re-boot your computer and let windows discover the device and install the drivers automatically.

That is what I have been doing and it keeps asking for e100bnt.din (which doesn't exist).

Have you tried the Intel Proset Utility? I am a bit confused over this as it appears to be for Desktops. I can find nothing on the Intel site for Notebooks with the PRO/100 VE adaptor.
