I've purchased BioShock from the bargain bin, but can't get the DVD drive to recognise the disk. I understand there have been problems with certain DVD drives failing to recognise dual-layer DVDs so I have been trying to update the firmware on my drive to see if it sorts out the problem. I have managed to update the firmware from HYS1 to HYS2, according to the Sony UK page for this DVD player there is a GYS4 firmware available which was released in 2008. When I downloaded this and tried to run it I got the error message 'no supported drives detected'.
