S1 BUTTON & NONE OF ANY OTHER BUTTON WORKS ON TOP

hi,

i have reinstalled windows 7 on my vaio VGN-FW48E. none of the button works on top like S1 or even i can not adjust the brightness. Webcam doesnt works either.

Need help please.

Have you reinstalled ALL the Sony Windows 7 Drivers and Utilities after installing Windows 7? These perform the functions you describe.

Thanks for reply first of all. atleast got some hopes now..lol..

right when i go to device manager.. it says base system device's driver is not installed.. and litterly it has bin 3 hours and i can not find the drivers for it anywhere.

Anybody please help..

I think that will be the Memory Card Slot for SD and MemoryStick.

As there is no Windows 7 driver for this, you could try installing the 3 Memory Card Drivers originally installed with Vista.

Click on the Tab 'Originally Installed' and try installing all 3 Memory Card Read/Write drivers.
