I have a this notebok since two weeks and there is a hardware problem.
If I switch the unit to stand by or total of the system clock stops working
it's a batterie problem. I dont like to give my notebook away for a warranty
repair. Is is difficulty to change this dam batterie and where is this thing
located. Thanks for advieses. :twisted:

You're best sending it in to VAIO-Link.
Some people have reported a turn around of 3 working days.

I had a problem last week with my notebook (FR415S)...
It was picked up at Tuesday and returned om Monday...
And that was with a defective DVD/CD Drive.
