I can never find my laptop in a drop down list when trying to buy a AC adapter online. So can you help.

I Have

Sony Viao PCG-FR315B with a PCGA-AC19V7 adapter

If you have the same adapter as me but a different Viao can you post you viao model here so I know what are compatible. Thanks!

Some confusion here when lloking at various places for power supplies...

The US sony style lists this power supply (PCGA-AC19V7) for $99, but in the specs says that it is for the FRV, GRV and GRT models and is NOT backward compatible with FR models

The easiest thing to do is just put " PCGA-AC19V7" in a search engine , such as google or altavista and buy from one of the hundred of dealers.

I have GRX616SP with AC19V3

I think the GRX series shares the same one.

I think there is some variation with the V numbers. Probably many adaptors with 19v, but the wattage may be different. Best to stick with the original specification.
