Laptop Freezing problem

Hello everyone, i have this sony varo SVE14AE13L running on windows 10 which my brother upgraded it to. But the problem is it keeps freezing randomly. What could be the problem please? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi @mebayoh, welcome to the community.

Did your brother use the official Sony upgrades on your Vaio, or a copy of Windows 10 without all the Sony utilities / software etc?

Mick's question is really relevant here as installing a different copy of Windows may cause performance issues.
