VAIO XL-201 / Will Not Boot

My VAIO XL-201 will no longer boot.

On pressing the power button -
1. the power light will blink quickly
2. 3 second pause
3. system powers up - HDDs and DVD drive spin up, network activity lights are on

However, I no longer hear the POST "beep" and there is no output from the graphics card at all.

I have looked at swapping out common components - graphics cards, RAM and HDD - with no luck. However, if I remove all the PC memory, I will get 3 "beeps". Given the system powers on, it doesn't feel like a PSU issue.

I was hoping someone had come across this before. This is my second XL-201 to fail this way, and I don't like the idea of buying another one to meet the same end.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Reading in the forum I found in your post my same problem!

I'd really like to know how did you manage with this problem and if you fixed it!

My xl 201 stops on the initial screenshot VAJO and no way to enter the bios via the wireless keyboard becouse no link doesn't start.

Do you know the way to enter bios setup!
