Help with vaio sve 1511m1eb model

Hi ,new laptop ,can't get past set up ,error box on screen ( computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered a error .windows installation cannot proceed ,to install windows click ok to restart computer then then restart the installation ). I have done this several times but after laptop restarts this error box reappears so I can't get to the installation part can anyone help

Hi Nancy and welcome.

Have you bought the Vaio in a store or online?

If you bought it in a shop, I think I would take it back and ask for a replacement.

If you have bought the Vaio online then it is probably worth trying to do a full system recovery first to see if that helps.

To Recover from the Recovery Area: -

1. Press the ASSIST key when the Vaio is TURNED OFF. This will start Vaio Care Rescue.

2. If you are asked to choose a language, select your language and click OK.

3. Click 'Start Recovery Wizard'

4. Follow the on-screen instructions for a complete recovery.

Make sure your Vaio is connected to the AC supply and leave it until it finishes - it may take some hours.

Come back if you have further problems.
