      <title>VGN-FW11M - Vista will not load</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have a VGN-FW11M, its a few years old now, but does what I need it for to Skype with the family while I work away.&amp;nbsp; This morning it failed to load windows vista.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows error message&amp;nbsp; Failed to start due&amp;nbsp; to hardware or software change.&amp;nbsp; Launch Startup Repair, but all I get is a black screen with cursor only after its ran.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried to boot using my recovery disk but still get the same black screen with cursor only. CD is primary boot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to&amp;nbsp; Windows Boot manager and select: Windows Memory Diagnostic and no problems recorded.&amp;nbsp; Reboots and black screen with Cursor only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;F8, tried to start: Safe, Safe with network &amp;amp; with comd and still get black screen and curosr only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So any advice on how to get windows running again please.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chris&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
