VPCEH Fn Brightness Controls

Hey there,

I see this question has been asked lots of time and I see that there are lots of different answers to this. I've just installed a fresh copy of Win7, but the function brightness keys aren't working.

What do I have to install and in what order? I seem to have installed almost everything off the website for my model, but some don't even appear in as installed Programs.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Dave and welcome.

It would help if you gave the full Vaio Model - there are over 100 different VPCEH models listed on the Vaio Support Website.

The answer is probably the same for most of these models. You need to install IN THIS ORDER: -

1. SFEP Driver (follow exactly the installation instructions which are shown before you download the driver).

2. Sony Shared Library

3. Sony Notebook Utilities

To get the downloads, go here: -

http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en

and enter your full model -> Downloads -> Preinstalled Drivers and Utilities.

To check you have installed all the drivers you require, check in Device Manager to see if there are any warnings.
