Hi ben,

Your RC204 gas TWO spare Hard Disc Bays. It will take any SATA 3.5 inch drives and some members here have already added 2 X 400GB drives.

It is a fairly simple operation - the hard discs are inside the silver box (with the light-up VAIO logo) on the front of your RC-Series. The box is just held on by two clips at the back (in the 'hole' in your Vaio) which you have to press to remove it.

You will find all the cables already in place to plug in the new drives. When installed you can use 'Intel Matrix Storage Manager' (under All Programs) to configure additional drives as stand alone drives or as an additional RAID Volume.
