Hi again Partytiger,

I hope all this is worth it in the end - you've convinced me NOT to try and upgrade to XP Pro.

Hopefully you are nearly there - I don't know if you need the motherboard type any more, for info it is:

Board: Intel Corporation PRAGUE AAD12395-205
Serial Number: BTPR53501XXX
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Intel Corp. PR94510J.04T.0078.2005.0829.110408/29/2005

You may like to look at the US Sony Download site - they do not have the exact same model numbers but they do have all the drivers, including the modem driver

HERE

(Quite a lot of Goodies on this site if you can match the model numbers)

ALL DRIVERS & UPDATES

Good Luck!
(Sorry about all the EDITS - had trouble getting URL to work!
