Try tapping F8 during boot (when you see the Sony logo) and then select ‘Last Known Good Configuration’. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the system then boots normally restart and try a standard boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi hope someone can help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Firstly I'm a bit of a techno phobe but have a brief understanding of computers so please explain in laymans terms if at all possible!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I power up my Vaio desktop just before it gets to the windows platform (using XP) the system reboots itself and gets caught in a loop.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any suggestions how to correct?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks if you can help!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
