Does the mainboard support this CPU?

The mainboard has 2 Pentium 4 12V "ports"

I installed the 3.0 ghz and i got no picture with from the pc. as default the 12V right from the cpu was used. i tryed the 12V under the cpu and also it didn t work.

so I reinstall the 2.4 cpu and use the 12V under the CPU now and as i start windows i got some new hardware called

Intel(R) 82801BA LPC-Schnittstellencontroller - 2440

i didnt find any clue what this could be, hope anyone could help me.

At the moment i belive that only the mainboard doesnt support 3.0ghz or 800mhz fsb and that this is the only problem.
