Took a bit of working out but after formating the vaio it worked fine apart from loosing the new skins.&lt;BR /&gt;Friday i transferd photos from my fuji camera (no problem)that same night i downloaded them to my pc(still ok)&lt;BR /&gt;Next day listning to some tunes the thing stop's playing!! screen littes up like blackpool and tells me its up dating files(this continues for 5 hour's all the way to dixson's)thay changed it no wories. Is this a common problem ??or just me not knowing what the****im doing.I think dixson's may get fedup if i turn up every saturday  so i dont want to risk photo transfer just yet.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Haven't seen anything quite like that, but 2 comments: 1) make sure the vaio is in the cradle and being charged/powered when upgrading the firmware and 2) if anything like this happens again try the reset button, it's  a hole on the bottom of the unit which you can stick a pin into. However, my brother and I both have VPs and we haven't had much trouble with them since Christmas, so I think yours was a one off.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is quite logical that you loose the skin dir when you do a format, just copy the skin folder from the firmware update back to the root of the Vaio and they are back.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JS&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
