New ver. of SonicStage allow You to transfer MP3 files as MP3 but if You wan to transfer CD it converts files from CD to Atrac.
SonicStage cant convert files to MP3 it only transfer MP3 from Your computer.
If You want to have Your CDs in MP3 You have to use another aplication to convert (for ex. MP3 Compressor, Ahead Nero, Winamp) and then transfer them to Your Vaio Pocket with SonicStage.
Good luck.

I've had my Vaio for a while now and have recently downloaded the software update (all three parts) from this website. It says it should allow me to transfer music files in MP3 (WAV) format to my Vaio using SonicStage, but it isn't letting me. I can record a CD in WAV format, but then when i go to transfer the music to my Vaio it still converts it to Atrac format. I have tried going on transfer mode in SonicStage and making it not transfer but there is no option to transfer it in non-atrac format. If anyone has any ideas of how to solve this problem they would be much appreciated.

Regards

Martin
