Need Serious Help Plz

I currently own a sony vaio vgf-apl1 portable music player and have just bought a new pc. Does anyone know how I can transfer all the songs that are on my portable music player to my new pc and then into my sonicstage library? I'm not sure that you can. It's to do with Sony's Piracy Paranoia. There are some 3rd party software programs for the iPod to allow transfers to an alternative PC but I haven't heard of any Sony ones - yet.
