Pause after every song!!!!!

Hi,
iv just got my VAIO pocket and i love it but, i've found that it has a longish pause after every song. This is very annoying as im listening to my favorite dance music in witch the tracks mix into each other, suddenly i have a pauce as it selects the next song. This makes me angry as i think this is an awersome peice of kit but if it pauses after every song it makes listening to mixed in tracks pointless. I have been through the manual but can't find anything. Can someone help please?:smileysad:

Does anyone else have this problem?

From your problem I'm guessing you dont have the new firmware update which contains many updates which includes gapless playback.

You should grab this new update package below:

Here you will get the new firmware and the needed updates for SonicStage and MusicTransfer

Thanks, after posting the thred i browsed the site abit more and found it. now i have another problem where i can't use sonic stage any more because it wont recognise my player. however i can download the nessosry sonicstage 2.3 but i do not have the internet on my computer upstars so i have to copy it to disc wil this be a problem?

Not at all.

Just make sure you copy the install file untouched, then laods this onto your pc upstairs.

and yes your right SS 2.1 will cure your problem but do you know SS 3.1 is out.
