    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you plug the i.Link cable into the camera and then into the VAIO, does the operating system making a sound to announce the arrival of new hardware?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Be sure your camera is in VCR (VTR) mode and is powered from an AC outlet.&lt;BR /&gt;Once the OS realises there is a camera connected you can then use DVGate or MovieShaker to work with the camera.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I connect a Panasonic DV Camcorder (NVDX 100) via i.link to the PC, the camcorder will not be recognized.  Does anybody has idea what to do. Thanks in advance?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

The OS does not make an sound when I plug in the cable. It simply doesn't recognize the new hardware&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
