      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The motherboard does allow the step-up.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You might want to check with VAIO-Link first, whether or not you will need to perform a BIOS-update prior to the installation of the new CPU.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You are right, there is hardly space to work inside the chassis, therefore I would recommend that you - after unplugging the power - unscrew the power-unit. This will give you quite a bit of space.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck with that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
