topic Parhelia compatible with PCV-RX201 in PCs & Accessories

Does anyone know if this graphics card is compatible or not.

I notice in th vaio-link knowledge base a question "I changed my video card and now my PC beeps when I boot it and I get no video output" with an answer that simply says "Your card isn't compatible". Not much help. My PC does exactly the same thing - beeps One long, three short on boot. Matrox think the card may be broken, I'm beginning to suspect a compatibility problem now. Although for the life of me I can't think why, it's just that a DOA component is so unusual (certainly for me)

The card is AGP2.0 compliant.
