Isatap problem in Vista, now no internet - how can I fix?!

Hi all, I am new here. I have a problem with my older laptap which is a Sony Vaio VGN NR38M. The internet suddenly stopped working and will not reconnect. Then I noticed that it didn't recognise my wireless network any longer. I found an exclamation mark next to "Isatap Adaptor" when checking my device manager. I've googled this and it seems to be fairly common with some suggestions on how to fix. I am not that computer literate and cannot work out how I can fix this with no internet to be able to download a fix - if there even is one.

Looking at Sony support it seems that I should have upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. I have no idea how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I tried going back to an earlier restore point but still no joy.
