How do I replace the fan on my old VGN-SZ2XP?

Hi Forum

I have a VGN-SZ2XP that sounds like a tractor when it's running due to fan noise. I've had the laptop for 4+ years now and it still suits my purposes fine so before I go out and buy a replacement computer I'd like to try replacing the fan. Does anyone have any info/links on how to change the fan in the VGN-SZ2XP?

I couldn't get hold of a replacement fan. I did remove the heatsink part and found lots of dust clogging up the cooling fins and stuck to the cooling fan blades. I cleaned this up and it seems that the fan noise has significantly reduced. Still noisier than it was when new, but usable...
