Hi all,

I've had the sony vaio vpceb3f4e (running on windows 7 * 64bit, 4gb memory, 500gb hard disk) for less than 3 months now and I'm having serious problems with memory and cpu usage. Less than a week from purchase I expeienced very high cpu usage even when no programme is running and I was advised by the sony centre to perform a recovery. After doing that everything seems to work fine. Until last week when I installed iTunes and quicktime. Memory usage is now constantly at 91-95% with cpu always at 100. I have the preinstalled McAfae AV and it's always saying my computer is safe, no action required. Recovery will be the last resort, so if anyone's solved a problem like this before, or can help in anyway please do.

Many thanks.

Message was edited by: sammish83
