VGP-PRAV2 Port Replicator on VGN-A417M

Hi all,

I've had my A417M for over 6 years and most of the time I was happy with it. As sometimes we all need to take our laptops somewhere I decided to get a docking station for mine to avoid all the unplugging and plugging back again. Unfortunately I have couple of problems with it:

I cannot make the TV tuner to appear on Vaio Zone
Remote controller which comes with the dock isn't working

Now, I'm not entirely sure what to expect as my vaio didn't come with any docking station but on the other hand I thought it would work as the station fits the whole series A.

After doing my own research all I know that to use my remote controller I need to have driver installed in C:\Program Files\Sony\Vaio Zone Remote Commander. I checked and I don't even have the folder...

I have no idea how to make the tv tuner appear in Vaio Zone.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe someone could zip and post his/her own remote commander files? See if that would help?

No worries, used kpac.exe, found install files and now everything works just fine!
