Wireless Lan switch Problem

I've lost Wireless Lan connection to the internet .Model VGN-NR21M/S Wireless Lan driver IntelPro 3945ABG.Softw 11.1.1W. Symptoms: -Wireless Lan switch on-no light. No wireless icons on taskbar. Wireless driver enabled in Network adapters Windows can't find a network and tells me to switch on the WIreless Lan. Running VISA. Any ideas Folks?

Hi.

It sounds like a similar problem to me, with my VAIO which is model PCG-7134M. The wireless switch is on and I get a light as the computer starts up but then the light disappears and the computer says it cannot find any wireless networks (my sister's computer is still getting wireless so we know it's not the internet service). Any help would be much appreciated!?
