help! vaio touchpad not very responsive

Has anyone found the touchpad does not respond promptly to your finger movements especially while the computer is busy. Finding it very frustrating. (model no. VPCEE2S1E)

yes. sometimes this happens. and yes, this is annoying, very.

i have VPCEB1E1R laptop.

i think this can be fixed if sony provided a good proper driver for touchpad.

p.s. also, a multitouch feature is a full crap here on vaio laptops.

Thanks for the reply! I made the pointer speed faster which I found made a difference, however I still find the touchpad a bit stubborn!

Hello

I have had constant problems since my Vaio (NW20EF) was new 12 months ago. Sometimes the curser has a mind of its own and jumps all over the screen. It has been returned twice but is still the same. I have found that holding down the ctrl and alt key whilst hitting the left clicker and Esc key at the same time stops the problem, very strange!
