    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recently dropped my laptop and since then, the system keeps freezing after it is boot up. I have tried system restore and chkdsk but its not helping and it seems to be getting worse. However, it seems to work in safe mode (with networking which is how I am able to get here&amp;nbsp; &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.lt/html/@3191CA7235A406D833094BA2DD1CF2FF/images/smilies/011.png" alt=":slight_smile:" title=":slight_smile:" /&gt; )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A friend has suggested I reformat the hard drive and another suggests I get a new one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Before I make any drastic decisions on the above, can someone advise me on what I need to do?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
