    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;I don't think you can and you will have to set up the network again if you reinstall the operating system.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Why do you want to recover the the laptop?&amp;nbsp; You will have to download hundreds of Microsoft and Vaio Updates and install them and set up everything from scratch again.&amp;nbsp; You will have to reinstall all your programs again &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;and then reload all your data.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Unless you have some compulsory reason to carry out a recovery, I would use a good registry cleaner and maintenance program like System Mechanic 10 to remove system debris built up over time.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;A recovery is for massochists only!!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.lt/html/@0248C33DDCF34AA61B8F8F33F5AFA5BE/images/smilies/013.png" alt=":wink:" title=":wink:" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a sony laptop running vista&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Speedtouch 585 wireness network&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I created a home network which I share&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My laptop could do with a clean up, I've backup up my documents, made a sony recovery disk now wish to do I factory recovery.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I backup my network settings please?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
