Once you dock the unit and start the SonicStage software, have you turned the unit on so that Windows USB plug-and-play finds it?

Hi all you vaio pocket loving owners. I'm here for a little bit of help. I'd appreciate any info provided. I just bought the vaio pocket the other day and have encountered the following.

Having problems with the Vaio Music Transfer software. It keeps saying device not found. even though my computer & sonicstage recognises the device. I have already updated the firmware, sonic stage & the transfer software in the order specified by the website but still no luck.

On another note, the manual says to right click the safely remove hardware icon before disconnecting the vaio pocket from the cradle. However, the message never seems to appear. I've only ever seen this message the first time i turned it on.

Again .. many thanks.
