Graphic driver update problems!! PLEASE HELP!! Im so frustrated!!

hello everybody, just downloaded the newest graphics driver but it doesnt install!!

I followed the instructions exactly how its stated:

click windows orb
right click computer
manage
device manager
uninstall ati driver
then double click on new driver

here it begins to extract the contents, then a black command box opens for a couple of seconds then it closes and then nothing happens.
So i reboot and when it starts up no new driver has been installed, i know this because the screen is low res. At this point in my system tray it begins to install the factory ati graphics driver automatically and i cant stop it!

Can anybody help me out???

i have the fw 21e model like jandroa. Lol jandroa whats up
But it seems the update has been taken down by sony...

It looks like the new Graphics Driver (ATI)- 8.513.1.4000 only works with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 and it does not work with the HD 3470.

It is still available for the FW31J and the FW31Z on their download pages.

It would seem that the HD 3470 doesw not need an update or one is still on the way.

well actually the FW21E needs it more than any other model..for example on my laptop while im playing some games it constantly freezes and gives me a message that atikmdag has stopped responding and has recovered. I hope this update addresses this issue.
