Hi,

I have successfuly managed to wipe Vista and install Windows XP Pro Sp3 via a slipstreamed install disc. I have also managed to get hold of all the XP drivers to get everything working. The laptop was almost unuseable when crippled by the Vista bloatware but under XP it is a flying machine.

The only bits that I am still trying to get to work are the Fn keys for screen brightness and volume. And also it would be good to have the Sony power management software (but it only seems to work with Vista). If anyone can help me out getting the Sony Power Management software and Fn keys to work under XP that would be great. I can live without them as am delighted with my laptop running XP but they would be nice to have.

Thanks, in anticipation.

Andy
