Sony Vaio Stolen Need to Get Serial

Hi All

My Vaio was recently stolen and I did not have the serial number written down, I did register with Sony and Club Vaio. Is there a way I can see see the serial number of my registered notebook ?

Sorry to hear of your problem, but welcome to the forum.

If you still have the original box that your Vaio came in you should find the serial number on a sticker.

Otherwise contact Vaio-Link and they should be able to help.

Hi Topmarx,

I'm sorry to read that your Vaio has been stolen..

If you can't find the box you may be able to find your serial number on the Vaio registration page ..

Have you used E-support before..?

If so CLICK HERE and enter your Log-in name followed by your password into the boxes provided.

Once the Vaio support home pages loads select Manage the products you registered.

Click on the + next to the model number to display the Serial Number..

Once you've reported the loss to the Police I suggest you contact Vaio-link with the following information, so Sony can place your Vaio onto the stolen database....

- the serial number of your stolen vaio..
- a copy of the police report..
- contact details of the police department handling the theft..
