problem with winDVD bd playing on tv

Hi
I've just purchased a FW21L. I have a problem with gettin it to play blu ray on my tv which is a LG. Which ever way i try either startin the winDVD on the laptop or pluggin in the HDMI lead before i start the program as soon as i hit the F7 button winDVD stops responding. The only way i could get it to play was to extend the monitor, which is a pain because then the laptop screen is still on.

Any one got any ideas

Have you installed the update to Version WinDVD BD - 8.0 - 8.0.9.670_2 from here?
