Someone Help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FW21L

Probably already been posted so sorry if it has. I have a FW21L and have always used the internet on wireless with no problem. On sunday i downloaded microsoft office word and it seems to have ruined my wireless connection. I can't connect to the internet now on wireless and when i try to connect to a network it say windows cant find any networks. I have used the diagnose and repair and all this did was do an update for me which had not solved the problem. Im not good with computers and fear i have deleted whatever it is that allows me to connect on wireless. It also talks about drivers but i dont know what this is to be honest.

Can someone please help me before i throw the computer out the window. This is driving me mad.

Have you tried resetting your pc back to a restore point
when wireless was working fine?

Out of interest is the wlan light checked in Vaio Smart Network?

Hi, it happened the same with mine. the only solution i found was:
Control panel
system and maintanence
device manager
network adapter
high light the wireless device Intel...
action, uninstall
close everything
restart
and your wireless should work
when you start the computer vista will find the driver and re install it
but next time you shut down and turn on the computer you'll have to do the same, and is such a pain. i e-mail sony support but still not answer.
