battery not charging

i purchaced a sony vaio ns10j/s 3 days ago and suddeyly the battery stopped charging vista says its charging and the battery charging light is on but nothing can any 1 help plz

welcome to Club VAIO..

some Vaio models have a Battery Care Function this usually stops charging at approximately 80%, is that what you are experiencing.?

thanks 4 help no thats no wats happening it wont chare any more than 1%

try removing and replacing your battery again, ensure it's securely locked..

Did you buy your Vaio locally if so a simple way to check if this is a battery or possible hardware problem is to take your Vaio to a local stockist and ask if you can try another NS's battery in your Vaio..
