Thin blue line down VGN-AW11Z/B screen

Hi

I bought the VGN-AW11Z/B laptop a few months ago and noticed a thin blue vertical line flickering near the middle of the screen soon after.

Recently it has developed into a constant feature, appearing from the moment the laptop is switched on to its shut down.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? World any driver or utility update by suitable? I think this may be a problem with the laptop screen or the graphics card and may have to be returned for a replacement

welcome to Club VAIO..

Try connecting your Vaio to an external monitor, do you still have the same problem.?

Do you get the same blue line when in safe mode.?

To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..

Do you get the same problem in the BIOS

To enter the BIOS restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F2 key repeatedly..

To exit the BIOS press F9 to reset the BIOS to default and press F10 to save and exit..
