A few days ago I acquired a Sony Vaio C2Z/B. I really liked it, but I had one problem: when I disconnected the laptop fromt the current, it went into battery mode and started making a really annoying high pitch sound. I sent it to Sony and they fixed the problem.

Now the problem is fixed and I can say this is a really cool laptop. It's fast, light and really nice!

Hi

Two questions!!

1. What did Sony do to rectify the high pitched sound?
2. Would you be able to help me sort a problem with my notebook, please see my post http://club.vaio.sony.co.uk/clubvaio/GB/en/forum/viewthread?thread=42118 I need someone with a C2Z/B to back up their BIOS and send me the file so I can recover mine to the correct version following trying to fix a fault with my notebook failing to resume correctly after going to sleep.

I'd be really grateful for help with this as Sony do not supply current BIOS files on their website and require me to send my notebook in for repair which i'd rather not do for such a small update.

Many thanks in advance

Ryan
