    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have just baught a new microphone headset.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I plug the mic in through the sound card it makes a horrible humming sound.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Lee,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sounds like the laptop has poor insulation, hence why you get ground hum.  You should contact VAIO-Link for a repair.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
