screen turns black

Hello,

I have a problem with my vaio vgn fs-395vp,

my screen turns black (in about 5 sec) sometimes and after everything works fine. It is little bit irritating so I would like to fix the problem.

It mostly happens when I use Internet Explorer but even with some other applications.

I have also installed Edubuntu Linux as dual boot and in linux I hadn't noticed such a problem.

Which step I should take to avoid this annoyance?

Does it only trun black when you dont use it? Or when youre using at same time?

It turns black when I use it.

If it is not only when you don't use the Vaio, then it sounds like a hardware problem.

I would get the wiring checked as it sounds like a bad connection in the inverter circuit.

Is your Vaio still under guarantee?

Computer is not under guarantee.

And in Linux (I have dual boot) - no such a problem.

Only in Windows
