I am running XP home edition and the audio chipset is a Realtek AC97. I tried everything I know even sonic stage masterig studio but the signal keeps coming through mic input and therefore totally saturated. I am starting to think that the only solution it would be to purchase an external sound card which is expensive and I wouldn't like doing it. it is a real shame that something so simple cannot be done in such an esxpensive product.
