FE41E--Problem having upgraded to Vista Ultimate.

The upgrade from Vista Home Premium to Ultimate proceeded without a hitch.
However,I now find that I have no sound(volume) output.
On checking,I am informed that "no audio device is fitted"
There was no problem before the update.
I would be very grateful if anyone can explain what has happened,and how I can rectify the situation.

Same problem here with FE41Z

Upgraded to Vista Ultimate , no more sound

I have same problem. In the systemcontrol they are drivers. I changed the driver and the sound is on.

Hi - I have the same problem too. Can you tell me what the name of the driver file is that you reloaded and where you found it? Was it in C:\Drivers or on the upgrade CD?
