My Vaio FE21S has the hard disk divided into two partitions, C and D. With only empty Sonic Stage and Sonic Mastering Studio folders stored on D. Can I use Partition Magic 8 to repartition these two partitions into one full size partition without losing the links to the Sonic folders (if I move them to C before repartitioning). Would the recovery partition be affected ??

Many thanks for anyones assistance

You can repartition to any size or number of partitions you want.If you just wish to have a C drive only,no problems. You can go into the Sonic settings and change the default folder yourself. You could do a system recovery and do the Partitioning from that when it asks you.It does give you the options. Then it will reinstall all your Apps to C anyway.

Many thanks. By the way - I am very happy with my FE21S and the support provided by Sony and these boards.
