I am having the exact problem and in fact emailed Vaio Support before downloading and installing the driver update! Their reply was just to manually switch the utility off at the front of my laptop before installing and so I gathered in doing this that all would be ok! I was most annoyed to find of course that I had lost the use of the Switcher Utility. I thought it odd in the first place to get this reply! All my additional wares such as printer, telephone, mobile etc.etc. are connected by bluetooth and to lose the switcher really makes my laptop usless to me as you can imagine. It certainly is not appropriate for me to leave my bluetooth on at all times whilst I use my laptop heavily away from home and I am not comfortable about security issues that may arise from this! I have emailed Vaio Support again and am waiting for their response as I want the Switcher Utility back, but I gather from a friend that it will not be a case of getting it back, but a case of I will have to make do, which is not good enough! If you know any different, as I have yet to receive a reply - would you please be so kind enough to email me and let me know your results! Good Luck in getting sorted out!:smileyrose:
